The hotel was reconstructed under the name “Svyatoslav” and was an ordinary country hotel. The hotel has undergone four renovations for the beginning of project work. Due to numerous renovations, the hotel had a network of dead-end and illogical corridors, which were more like a maze system rather than communication links. Prior to this, all the renovations, annexes were conducted by economic method (without architectural project).
Our team had the following tasks:
- To bring the facility in compliance with state building codes (to ensure accessibility for disabled people, to bring corridors to the appropriate widths, etc.).
- We increase qualitatively and quantitatively the hotel rooms. Also, rooms for people with disabilities were designed.
- We lead the hotel's infrastructure to a 4 star rating.
- Define a clear linear structure of the corridor systems on the principle - elevator hall - corridor - staircase.
- Replacement and completion of all engineering networks in accordance to regulatory requirements, and modern requirements for the star rating of the hotel. Fire safety was provided.
- For maximum convenience we designed a laundry room, connected by an elevator to all floors, rooms and pantries on each floor.
- We designed conference room for 90 seats, equipped with modular tables, which gives the opportunity to hold various conferences, workshops, lectures, exhibitions.
